BUTTERFLY POWER TOUR 2025

The regional Forrásvíz Nature-Friendly Association will organize the “LEPKE” performance tour in the Keszthely Mountains in 2026. The tour is also part of the PELSO Cup. In addition to the membership and helpers of the Association, the ZSZC Keszthelyi Asbóth Sándor Technical School, Vocational School and Dormitory also plays an important role (Károly Kardos, László Berdán and their team). As in the previous period, we will organize it in March, as usual, although the program will be in spring and sometimes in slightly wintery weather conditions. But it will be worth it! It is a very beautiful tour. We look forward to seeing everyone.

Date: March 21, 2026 (Saturday)

Route: Vonyarcvashegy railway station; Pető-hegy (Berzsenyi lookout, but it will be omitted in the 15 km distance); Büdöskút rest area (15 km from here to Pad-kű); Büdöskút forest;

(40 km from Bélap valley; Szép lookout; Bise-kő-tető; Márványkőfejtő hill); Vékony-cser; St. Miklós spring. Büdöskút rest area; Pad-kűi lookout (409 m above sea level), Jakabfi rest area; Keserű-tető; St. Michael's hill chapel, berekalja; (40 km from St. Vendel chapel; Vas-hegyi Kitaibel Pál lookout); Vonyarcvashegy: railway station.

At 15 km the elevation gain is 350 m, ascent time: 4 hours, or none!

At 25 km the elevation gain is 390 m, ascent time: 6 hours, or none!

The elevation gain in 40 km is 1140 m, elevation gain time: 10 hours

Start: on all three distances between 7-11 am continuously from the Vonyarcvashegy railway station, and the finish is also there by 6 pm at the latest (there is a large parking area next to the railway station for cars and buses). Participation in the tour is possible at this time, provided that the current epidemiological measures are observed. Let's take care of each other!

Entry fee: 15 km: 2500,- HUF/person; 25 km and 40 km: 3000,- HUF/person.

In case of cancellation, we can refund the amount paid minus a 400 HUF administration fee.

Discount: 300 HUF discount: for those registering on site upon presentation of MSTSZ, TTT member, MTSZ and Hungarian Tourist card; free: under 7 years of age and over 70 years of age; discounts cannot be combined.

Participants who complete the tour route according to the announcement will have confirmation of all checkpoints on their check-in sheet, receive a commemorative card and a badge.

At the refreshment stations along the route, there are chocolate, sugar, soda, sandwiches. (your own glass is good, if you have one!)

Everyone participates in the tour at their own risk, no compensation can be requested from the organizers in any way, we will store luggage at the start-finish.

We would like to draw attention to the protection of the forest and nature, and to not litter or cause fires in the forest area!
