After last year's great success, the Festetics Gastronomic Restaurant Week will be held again this year!

Are you curious about what people ate at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries? What raw materials were used? How were the delicious dishes prepared?

The aim of the FESTETICS GASTRONOMIC RESTAURANT WEEK is to promote the Festetics name (Festetics heritage) and Festetics food (Festetics Gastronomy), to support the development of Hungarian tourism, and to cooperate between the different segments and representatives of tourism.

FESTETICS GASTRONOMY

The world of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, which in history is referred to as the "happy times of peace", was also decisive in the gastronomic life of Keszthely and its surroundings. The culinary heritage of the Festetics family, based on old Hungarian recipes, will be revived with today's kitchen technology during the Festetics Gastronomic Restaurant Week.

Between 26 May and 6 June, the menu will be enriched by dishes associated with the name of the Festetics family in 7 restaurants in Keszthely and the surrounding area, thus making it possible for the Festetics heritage to be known not only in sights and spirit, but also through tastes.
